"Jamm" means "peace" in Wolof, a language widely spoken in Senegal. Together, Jamm & Joy reflects the sense of peace and joy that inspired our business and the experience we hope to share with every customer.

Through our relationships with artisans and designers in Senegal, we bring authentic pieces and their stories to customers who appreciate distinctive design and meaningful connections.

Every piece is handmade in Dakar, Senegal, in collaboration with talented local artisans and designers.

Our talented artisans in Dakar, Senegal, handcraft our jewelry using quality materials, including bronze with 18K gold finishes. Each piece reflects the artistry, craftsmanship, and contemporary creativity of West African design. Because our jewelry is handmade, slight variations in texture, color, and finish may occur, making each piece unique.

Because each piece is handcrafted, natural variations in color, texture, and finish make every one unique. We photograph and describe every piece as accurately as we can.
